Dominator - dressage as well as jumping lines in his pedigree. As indicated by his test score (jumping index 123.47) Dominator's jumping ability is above average.  He also has an excellent temperament which was scored a ''9'' at his 100 Day Test.
Domingo - AHSA National Champion - First Level 1985, AHSA National Champion - Second Level 1986, USET/Insilco Horse of the Year, Many Wins - Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special 1991 & 1992, 1992 CDS-LS F.E..High Point Champion, 1992 AHSA Intermediaire II Champion, 1992 USDF Intermediaire II Horse of the Year Champion.

Durkheim - the leading producer of Dressage and Eventing horse in Germany. He stood at the state stud in Celle for many years.

Duft II - along with his equally influential brother Duft I, were both prominent D-line stallions and noted for siring outstanding conformation and gaits. His most notable offspring are Dirk / 1974 DLG Champion, Derwish / 1981 Champion Stallion Hanoverian Approvals, Darling / 1976 DLG Champion, Duftgut / 1979 Champion Mare at the Louis-Wiegels Mare show and who received 1-b prize at the DLG show. Duft II sired 43 Elite Verden auction horses. The D-line was originally founded by the English Thoroughbred, Devil's Own (1894 - 1906). Detektiv, foaled in 1922, was a great grandson of Devil's Own xx. Duft II's sire, Duellant (1946 - 1965) appears in modern Hanoverian pedigrees and is known as a contributor of good conformation, movement and great dressage talent, to the Hanoverian breed. He produced 33 approved sons, 201 Main Studbook mares and 62 State Premium mares. His approved son, Dux, ridden by Reiner Klimke, won the 1964 Olympic Team Gold Medal, and again in 1968 won the Individual Bronze on the GER Team Gold. Gotensage's grandsire, Goldammer II, sired the stallion Goldfisch II, who sired both Gotthard and Graf.

Duellant - Duft II's sire

Dolman - standing from 1937-1953, sired the famous Duellant (1946-1965) who founded a big group of stallions, very good in conformation and movement, and with great dressage talent. His most influential son was Duft II. Duft II's son Darling (1975-1987) proved to be a good producer of dressage stallions. Darling's well known son Dynasty was. before his 1989 death, the best dressage horse in Canada. One of Darling's sons used in Germany was Damnatz. Another very respected sire of dressage horses in Germany is the Duft II son Dueerkheim in the State Stud since 1973.

Lombard - Lombard, descends from the Hanoverian L line derived from the great thoroughbred Der Löwe xx, the sire of Lugano I and II. Lugano II is known as dressage producer, however Lugano II's best son, the black Lombard (1969), also made his mark in a big way as a sire of show jumpers. Lombard is the sire of The State Stud, Lanthan known for producing versatile modern performance horses. He is the dam sire of Carol Lavell's Olympic medal winning mount “Gifted” as well as many, many others.
Lugano II - by DER LOEWE xx, a TB stallion, invaluable for the Hanoverian breeding directly after the WW II. This stallion was a "Veredler", a horse which refined and made the hanoverian progeny more noble - a feature very much needed, as the purpose of the Hanoverian horse changed drastically from a working farm and war horse to a riding / pleasure horse.
Der Löwexx - (the lion), Bred by Gestuet Roettgen in Germany, Der Loewe stood at stud at the Landgestuet Celle from 1951 to 1973. A Thoroughbred sire of Hanoverians. He sired 12 approved sons while standing at the Hanoverian State Stud at Celle, including the full brothers Lugano I and Lugano II. His offspring won approximately DM 1,000,000 in sporthorse competition. He was proven on the racetrack where he achieved great successes for the Röttgen stud and then at the Hanoverian station of Großenwörden. Der Löwe xx produced significant horses with great expression, even though later it was discovered that their sensitivity to noise created problems for these otherwise excellent horses. For dressage Der Löwe xx produced Liostro 2 / Karin Schlüter, Löwenherz 7 / Dr. Erika Schwarzkopf, Lanthan / Carola Lampe, Lady Lou 2 / Holger and Inge Schmezer, Leopardin 2 / Hans-Jürgen Armbrust, Lucky Boy 4 / Marjolyn Greeve (Netherlands) and Leopardi / John Whinnet. In jumping, Hartwig Steenken had many successes with DerLord 2 and Loriot 17, and in three-day eventing, as well as the Dane Nils Haagensen with Löwenstern. The chestnut stallion, Lugano I became a strong propagator of his sire's genotype, producing rideable dressage horses and showjumpers of the highest international standards. Today the genotype of Der Löwe xx is more or less disseminated by Lugano II who produced the black stallion Lombard, a capital performance multiplier whose stallion sons, Lanthan and Leubus, are highly regarded. Der Löwe xx was put down at the age of 29. His skeleton is on exhibition at the Verden horse.
